In the past, I have written stage plays and scripts for television dramas that have been produced. I have also written, and had published, short stories and numerous human interest articles.
This modest site is my attempt to present some of my more recent unpublished work and ideas, along with other irrelevant, but possibly interesting, material.
The way I write is the way I talk; many readers have told me that. As an observer, I notice details. By nature I am a thinker, I always think deeply and thoroughly. My writing reflects everything about me – my openness, my thoughts, a desire to remain private, and yet I am not shy. I am a keen observer of human behaviour, particularly human interaction and character development, assisted by my early discovery of an unusual ability to “read” people’s character with surprising precision. My focus is human relations, conduct and the tangles we get ourselves into in daily life. Most of my stories are based in Melbourne, all my characters are inspired by Melbournians, simply because I mix with them.
The travel experience section is not intended to be a history lesson; anyone viewing this site would be able to get historical information from the internet. I just hope that my writing can raise some interest in people – for those living in Australia, to see this sixth largest country by total area and appreciate its space and unique fixtures, and for overseas travellers, to see our exclusive “world’s largest island”.
I follow a philosophy for life and work that is really simple: “do unto others as you would have them do unto you”. If all the people of the world could apply that age-old adage, the world would be a much better place.
There is enough negativity in the world. All I wish to do is share my positive attitude and happy outlook with anyone who likes my ideas. I am not expecting everyone to agree with me. For those who don’t, there is no need to enter my site. For those who do enter my site, please have some self-respect and respect other viewers; let there be harmony.
